Tram-train
Following the RER, the high-speed LRT running in isolation on disused railway lines, or the light train running on tracks dedicated to passenger transport, Egis Rail is now particularly interested in the designing of a new type of rolling stock: the tram-train, which combines the aesthetics and flexibility of the urban LRT with the aptitude to make use of the railway network and adapt to the operational constraints specific to a railway system.
