Extension of line B of Lyons metro to Oullins

The project is going well and is on time. The Tunnel-Boring Machine is ahead of schedule and has aleady arrived under the former SNCF site “La Saulaie”.

The crossing under the river Rhône was a success (less than 1 month to cross 300m). There was a minor incident at 12, Jean Jaurès but with no real consequences.

Success too regarding the settling measurements which were lower than forecast.

The next stage  will be in March with the arrival of the  TBM at the new station “Gare Oullins”.

The cut-and-cover sectionat Gerland is almost completed and will be fitted out this summer.

Oullins station is being completed with a roof slab and outdoor equipment.

More to follow soon…
